To help keep this a safe environment and to protect the website from spam bots, we carry out spot checks and may moderate some posts.
We want all genuine users to enjoy this space, so please adhere to the following to keep it a safe and friendly community. These rules also apply when commenting on blog posts.
Choose a friendly and inoffensive username. This cannot be changed once you’ve registered
Keep to the topic of discussion in each thread. For example, don’t post a recipe idea in a thread about the environment
Never publish your personal details. These include your name, address, phone number, date of birth, account details etc.
Respect the opinions of others. If you disagree with anything that the website authors or another user has written, reply politely and provide evidence so that everybody can learn
Remember that this is a public forum and is not to be used for private communication
Bullying, threatening, swearing, abuse or discrimination of any kind towards other users or administrators is forbidden and will not be tolerated
Illegal activity is forbidden and will be reported
Don’t plagiarise – don’t post text, images, ideas and claim them to be your own if they’re not
Don’t post content which is protected by copyright, trademark or patent unless you have written permission from the owner
Don’t make this space one big advert. If appropriate, you may discuss the benefits of particular products in relevant threads, but be discreet
Don’t post affiliate links
Posts and comments are spot checked and may be moderated at times. We reserve the right to edit or remove any inappropriate content, report any misdemeanours and ban users who do not adhere to these rules
